Founded by Glenn Raddatz in 1984, The Texan Barbeque is known for its pit-cooked, high-quality barbecued meats, prepared the Texas way, slow-cooked over freshly cut hickory logs for 15 hours at 200 degrees. This place was popular with the cast and crew of the Bill Murray classic film Groundhog Day during filming up the road in Woodstock, IL. The Texan is still there, and it's still AWESOME.
