The Fireside Bowl played host to many well know punk and hardcore bands from 1994 to the early 2000s. It was an old bowling alley that had fallen on hard times, and a couple of promoters (Brian Peterson and Dave Eaves) started doing shows there. It kept the place alive until the local authorities forced the owners back to being a bowling alley. This is a classic Chicago scene spot for many now middle-aged punks. In regards to the shirt, I believe it must be pretty old, but I have no guess on when it was originally sold. Very cool shirt though. Preowned, preloved.
